The Magic of Runes
The word "rune" actually means
"mystery," "secret," or "whisper." Runes were
typically carved into wood or stone and were used as charms or talismans. The
Celts believed that runes could be used to tap into the magical energy of the
universe.
There are many different types of runes, but the most common is the Elder Futhark. The Elder Futhark consists of 25 runes that represent the different aspects of life. Including is one blank rune called Odin’s Rune and represents the mysteries of life. Each rune has its own name, sound, and meaning.
